Our next port of call was Montenegro and an overnight sail brought us to the quaint and beautiful town of Kotor. According to the locals, they'd had a week of non-stop rain (apparently it rains a lot there due to its situation below the mountains), but the sea was mill pond calm, the sun was shining and the temperature was 30C when we anchored in Kotor bay.
The remains of the wall and ramparts that surrounded the old town are amazing and the town itself had so much character, with clean (almost polished-looking) cobbled streets, a myriad of churches, little shops, and eateries.
Definitely another one to add to your Bucket List...
