Having been to Dubrovnik a couple of years ago and absolutely loving it, we were looking forward to visiting Split and it did not disappoint. It's such a beautiful, friendly and historic town... and so clean. The cobbled streets in the Old Town are spotless and even in the markets, everything was so neat and tidy. My kind of town.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end and leaving Split that evening, we headed back to Venice and the next morning, back to Blighty.
Already looking forward to our next cruise: The Canary Islands in November with the Clan.
