Where did the week go? I know it's been a busy one, but I'm not really sure why... will need to consult my diary and remind myself what we've been up to.
I do remember that on Tuesday I did a double class of Pilates - making up for missing out when we were away on holiday - after two hours, with only a 15 minute break in between (time enough for a drink of water and a banana), my ache-y muscles have reminded me for the rest of the week!
And on Wednesday, the pups and I had a lovely outing with Gill & Breagha at Woodgate Valley, followed by a yummy lunch at Chez Edward. After the heavy rain we had last weekend, the river was in full flow and the three hounds had a great time jumping off the bank, swimming downstream, then scrambling up the bank again and running back to repeat the whole process.
SO, today is "Re-decorate The Snug" day. After a quick sojourn to Sainsbury's this morning (to ensure Ali has sufficient food & drink to survive the weekend whilst I go jolling in London with Chris), I'm going to get stuck in and paint the tv room downstairs, then sew some new cushions, hang the new curtains and roll out the new rug. All thanks to the Laura Ashley/Next/John Lewis sales!
The challenge will be to keep Ben & Jerry's curious wee snouts away from the wet paint. Wish me luck...
