The weekend is nigh...

A busy, busy week.

The BEST kind of busy though. 

The kind where you spend the whole day doing all sorts of  things and then fall into bed at the end of it, exhausted but happy.

So today I'm looking forward to lunch with 'the famous five' (the delightful, diverse, funny and interesting women that I met in one of my Pilates classes and who have become such lovely friends) and then two of my gorgeous Glasgow girlfriends are arriving this evening to spend the weekend with us. Well, mostly with me actually... Ali will probably not get a word in until Sunday evening ;-)

SO exciting.  

With the arrival of the two-most-adorable-pups-in-the-world (I really should amend that to "two-OF-the-most-adorable-pups-in-the-world", lest Sushi,Varney, Breagha and the latest addition to the clan, wee Alfie, take offence! See pic below - aren't they just the most-adorable-pups-you-ever-did-see?) my travelling on a whim has been somewhat curtailed and it's now been a whole year since last I was in Scotland, so it will be nice to just be able to sit down with each other for a good old natter and a proper catch up.
