Ali in the attic

I realise you have been eagerly awaiting ;-) some pics of my current quilting project (as promised in previous post) but most annoyingly, JL did not have a quarter inch foot in stock so I had to order it online...blah blah blah.

So instead of doing some happy quilting this weekend, I was obliged to do some necessary painting instead.

Skirtings, doors, frames and cupboards in our room & en-suite:  tick.

Sore arms, knees, neck: tick.

So that's that off the list. 

Next?

I have a yearning to paint my craft room in 'Willow Tree' (a beautiful light sage green) and the snug in 'Intense Truffle' (mocha) but have yet to convince The Ali, so will need to work on that. Watch this space.

So whilst I was brandishing the paint brush,the above-mentioned Ali was up the ladder, flooring the attic.  He did an excellent job so now all the stuff-we-don't-really-need-but-don't-want-to-throw-out-either has been moved up there.

All in all, a very productive weekend at chez Walker.
