Having promised Kara that we'd have a traditional English afternoon tea whilst she was here, Barbs, Kara and I went to the little Victorian tearoom at Avoncroft on Wednesday afternoon, and did just that.
Yummy scones with strawberry jam and Devonshire clotted cream, two pots of tea and a hot white chocolate went down really well. Considering we had not too long ago had the (now) world famous bacon butties from the cafe at Clent, I think we did rather well to manage afternoon tea too, AND then we rounded off the feast with another British traditional culinary delight, fish & chips for dinner.
