The Lanc flies again...

Where has the week gone? Or the year even... I kid you not, at the weekend I overheard a fellow shopper in the supermarket saying "it's only 27 weeks 'til Christmas" !
We're not wishing the weeks away, but they do seem to be vanishing at a pace. 

Anyway, I digress...

Last week we were chuffed to receive this cutting from the Cape Times (thanks Oz):

Yep, it's the 11ft scale (radio-controlled) model of a Lancaster that Ali & his friend Marius built, way back in 2003/4.  It is the biggest electric model plane in Africa!
Then when we moved to the UK and Marius moved to Australia, they gave the Lanc to their friend Andy at Hobby Warehouse in Lansdowne Road with the accompanying instruction to "fly & enjoy".
So we're very chuffed to see that he's doing just that...
