It's been raining on & off since Tuesday, but this morning we decided to put our heads down and our hoods up and brave the April showers for a walk in the Clent hills. It feels like a Cape winter day... one minute the sun's out and the sky's blue, and the next it's dark clouds and pouring rain. Four seasons in one day.
Nonetheless, we walked and nattered and stopped every now and again, usually on the uphills, to catch our breathe and admire the blossoming bluebells.
And at the end we rewarded ourselves with a big mug of yummy hot chocolate in the shelter of the Cafe.
