My "Walkers & Hounds" group met at Stratford-upon-Avon and we had a lovely walk along the Avon river, up across some fields and an old railway bridge, and back along the river again. It goes without saying that our two most-adorable-pups-in-the-world had a great time exploring as yet uncharted territory and introducing themselves to the various ducks we encountered along the way (I may have mentioned previously that Ben in particular has a penchant for poultry...).
The lowlight of my day though, was having to physically fish Jerry out of the river after she'd jumped in at high speed with no prior thought as to how she'd get out again, given that that particular part of the river was shored up with a brick wall! Aaarghh.... So I got a tad drookit hauling all 25kgs of pup up the wall and out of the water. And then suffered the further indignity of a shower of river water as Jerry shook herself off!
That aside, it was a truly lovely walk and good to find new places for our wanderings.
