Had a good day out with the Walkers & Hounds girls yesterday. Having initially planned to go to Stratford-upon-Avon, we decided to do a long circular hike in the Lickeys instead and ended up at our local deli in the village for lunch. Having not met up since the beginning of summer, it was lovely to have a natter and catch up, and needless to say the hounds all had a great time too.
Our timing was impeccable, as what had been a beautiful warm & sunny morning turned into a wet & windy afternoon, which we enjoyed from the warmth of the deli... until Kate realised she'd left her car sunroof open!
Uh oh...
Temps are definitely dropping and the daylight hours are getting shorter, but I'm hoping that the sunshine will stick around a wee while longer.
One can but hope.
