Heading down to London on Thursday afternoon (so Chris will take me out for a wee birthday celebration in the evening) and then it's an early rise to get to Heathrow on Friday morning.
Can't believe we haven't seen each other for 7 years. Thank goodness for the invention of email and reasonably-priced international calls! Either way, there's a WHOLE LOT of nattering to be done!
Ali is indeed not expecting to get a word in for the next 2 weeks, but is happy with the anticipation of me using up my daily quota of words on someone else for a change :-)
So, the guest room is made up, the fridge is stocked, the itinerary is all planned... and the shops await.
Roll on Friday morning...
