The dreaded lurgy struck me down over a week ago, causing my birthday celebrations to be postponed. Bad timing indeed!
I'm still a bit sniffly & sneezy but, besides that, feeling much better. So as it's Ali's birthday today, we decided we'd just move our plans to this weekend instead. So on Sunday we're heading into bustling Brum to try out renowned chef Marco Pierre White's new restaurant.
Thanks for all our lovely pressies & cards & birthday wishes - we have both felt very spoilt & loved :-)
Otherwise, not much else happening here at chez Walkers. I've been laying low and taking it easy in an attempt to shed the above-mentioned lurgy, so Ben & Jerry have had to contend with sojourning in the back garden and the occasional excursion to the woods with the Dogfather.
