The delights of DC...

Out & about...
Had a fab time in Washington DC - IPP was great fun and it was lovely to put faces to names and to spend time getting to know them. The boys ferociously consumed all things puzzly - swapping makes and sharing stories, whilst we girls shopped & nattered & did some sightseeing...with a wee bit of crafting in between.
At IPP - fellow metagrobolgists and their significant others.
One of my favourites was the old colonial town of Alexandria in Virginia.  I loved its quaint buildings and quirky shops.

King Street - Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.
The weather was lovely - hot & humid on some days (not good hair days!) but mostly just sunny and warm and a very nice change from the rainy summer we've had so far in the UK.

"Danger! Women shopping"... the sign says it all!
All in all, it was a good trip and we so enjoyed meeting and making new friends - sharing fun, food and fellowship...and the odd puzzle, here and there ;-)

Next stop: NYC - but I have another pile of laundry to do before I sort out those pics. Stay tuned, more to follow soon...
