Just perfect for a walk in the woods with the hounds. So after a lazy morning, we headed up the hill to the Lickeys.
Of course it goes without saying that after a week of pretty much rain, rain and more rain, the woods were v.e.r.y muddy. The pups love it and being varying shades of brown themselves, have the advantage of blending into it pretty well. Not so for my flowery pink wellies though!
So when we got home, both the pups and the wellies had a quick shampoo & rinse with the garden hose.
A pretty good way to start off the year, methinks . . .
Ali was back to work today, and all my activities start up again next week. So that's the festivities over for a while - let the new year commence!
